Hi, I'm Kathryn Lynn Elsie
I was born on July 1, 1987 in a small coastal city in Florida known as Pensacola. I grew up in a yellow cottage on South 2nd Street mostly like every other kid, going to school, playing with my friends, riding bicycles, cooking, drawing, playing my flute, writing poetry, taking photos, drinking tea, swimming at the beach, and spending lots of time with my grandma who lived just down the street.
While I was raised going to church every Sunday, I left church, Christianity and religion behind at the age of 14 to become an atheist. One Sunday after church, I said a prayer to God sitting in the car off the side of the road that if He were real and wanted me in His Kingdom, then one day He would need to reveal Himself to me personally.
I waved goodbye to God and lived my life to the full. I traveled to other countries, explored other cultures, got into relationships, moved to Charleston, SC and eventually went to college to study anthropology and psychology. It was while I was in Austin in 2014 and trying to finish college that I began to question whether there was more than life here on Earth.
I was doing all the cool things in Austin like going to concerts, parties, festivals, cosplay events, eating out at cool restaurants, yet none of it was fulfilling. I began to slowly realize this life everything within it is temporary, so there might be something more and lasting on the other side.
Over the months leading up to the move to Austin, I became very aware of a giant hole in my chest, an emptiness that needed to be filled with something other than the knowledge I had been seeking through college, science, books, and education. When I didn’t get the funding I hoped I would to go to school, I changed the direction of my life and began to pursue a life of yoga, meditation and Eastern religions hoping to connect to God or Source, but nothing happened. I even thought about going to India, giving away all of my possessions and becoming a Buddhist to live a life like Jesus.
Then, on July 1, 2016, I hit a point of rock bottom in life on my birthday. I had spent my birthday in Zilker Park having a picnic with my boyfriend flying a heart-shaped kite. After that, the day seemed to spiral downhill. We got into a small fight on our way to the parking lot that left me with so much hurt I didn’t know what to do. When my boyfriend gave me the apartment for the evening to have some peace and quiet, I went out for ice cream, but threw everything in the kitchen sink in my heartache and tears. I stood there and asked God in my heart, “What else is there?” I wanted to know what is on the other side. There was no answer. God was silent and I felt foolish for opening myself up to God for the first time in 15 years. Perhaps, I asked God the wrong question. So I thought deeply in my heart of what I really wanted if I could ask God for something.
The year before my mom came to visit us and started talking about forgiveness. I heard Christians many times talking about forgiveness, but I didn’t really know what it was or what it felt like. I didn’t even know if forgiveness was real, but I knew that’s what I wanted. I wanted to forgive so I could heal from what happened between me and my boyfriend.
I called out in my tears to God in a prayer for forgiveness from my kitchen and was taken to a Heavenly realm full of infinite forgiveness, peace, love, light, and joy where God and their angels revealed their Love to me for all the souls of humanity. The day after this experience, I gave my life to Jesus in the middle of a grocery store parking lot. Then, on Sunday morning July 3, 2016, I found out it was “my time” to go. I walked out the door of the apartment full of the Joy of Jesus where a car was about to hit me, and found myself going to Heaven.
On the way there, I was sent back by God because I told God I wanted to tell my story. I now share my stories of God and the angels in hopes that others can find and connect to God.
You Are Loved
