You Are a Child of God

When I met God on my birthday of July 1, 2016, one of the first things I was shown when I was taken to a Heavenly realm was all of the souls on the Earth. I looked out over the city of Austin, TX where I lived at the time, as if I was looking through the eyes of God. In this Heavenly realm where I was taken, everything that existed exuded this pure White Light. The grass and trees were all somehow greener than green and radiant with Light. The Light of God beamed from the sky and filled me with the greatest sense of peace.

While I was looking through God’s eyes over the Earth, the four angels in Heaven showed me every soul of all the different religions in the city. I didn’t see people in their bodily form, but as if everything that was physical about an individual had been completely stripped away. There were no genders, no sexes, no races, no ethnicities: just pure souls made of Love.

Every soul I glanced at looked like a pearlescent white ball or a precious pearl. The angels then took me as though I was flying above every soul on Earth. As I glanced over the souls with God and the angels, I saw little labels over each soul which said, “Atheist”, “Christian”, “Buddhist”, “Muslim”, “Hindu”, “Jewish”, “Agnostic” etc. written in black ink. I knew it was written in this color because it didn’t matter the religion. While the people may have loved their religion and even identified with it, God and the angels just looked at the love and the soul.

As I continued to gaze over the Earth looking through God’s eyes, God and the angels took me on something like a tour of the souls. I found myself with them hovering wearing a little white robe with the four angels in Heaven to my right. Each soul had entire life histories written within them. Yet, regardless of each soul’s faith or lack of, they were simply made of pure love. God is Love and so love is the true Image or essence of the soul.

At one point, God, the angels, and I hovered above an atheist soul. While many Christians or religious people on Earth thought atheists were non-spiritual, God and the angels showed me how the atheist soul looked no different from any of the other souls on Earth. They simply didn’t believe in God. Yet, despite not believing in God, the angels showed me how much they loved and respected the atheists. They showed me without words that atheists, like I had been, often had a love and earnest desire for the truth, so much so that they often became scientists. God and the angels showed me that even if they sought that truth through science, God was still very proud of them for seeking it out. Unlike what I had heard and experienced from some people on Earth who claimed to be Christians, there was no anger or judgement for them from God and the angels: only pure love. God and the angels even conveyed to me without words that sometimes an atheist can be even more concerned with the truth than a Christian. Truth, after all, is a component of love.

I was also shown that if an atheist or an agnostic died, it didn’t mean they were going somewhere bad like many Christians thought. Many atheists were actually good people who lived loving lives, but they simply didn’t believe in God. Also, no one on Earth can know what a person says before they die or at their moment of death.

God and the angels were showing me all of this because of how I grew up. I was raised in a cultural environment where fundamentalist beliefs about God and Christianity were widespread and where people often took their own limited interpretations of the Bible as the ultimate truth. As a child, I even heard people say things like only Christians were God’s children, and no one else, but there in that Heavenly realm, I was seeing the truth for myself.

I know now as a Christian where they got this belief. There is a verse in the Bible which says that those who believe in God or Jesus Christ receive the right to become children of God, which is true. In the spiritual realm when you believe in God or Jesus from within, you belong to Him. Yet, there is also another verse written in Isaiah which says that God’s ways or thoughts are higher than ours and that God always sees from a Heavenly perspective.

I know this is what I saw when I was taken by God on my birthday. God spoke to me while showing me all of the souls of humanity and said, “Everyone is my child. They can’t not be my child because I made them in my image.” He said this as if to show me how ridiculous it is that some people thought their religion gave them exclusive rights to His Image, to connection to God, or to Heaven. God’s image, after all, is based on our soul’s core of Love, not on our individual religion.

It is when we live with Love, regardless of our religion on Earth, that we experience ourselves as children in God’s image and how He made us to be.
