You Are The Light of God

When I came back from Heaven, I could see the Light in others. I think I could always see the Light inside of others. Even as a little girl, going to church, I remember being able to see this Light inside of the women of my church. They were always brighter, happier, more full of love and joy than people I encountered in the outside world. I knew when I looked into their eyes, I could see into their soul and the light they radiated on the inside.

I knew they had this light, love, and joy not only because they believed in God from the inside, but also because they believed in Jesus Christ. Even though I wasn't very spiritual at the time and still questioning my faith and belief in God's existence, seeing the Light inside of their hearts and the joy they carried gave me the simple idea that we're just here on Earth to live in peace, love, and joy with others and that’s what Christianity was really about.

Over time, I began to have a lot of questions about God being real. Even though I could see this Light, around the ages of 10 or 11, I had a lot of questions about God that no one in church seemed able to answer. I knew my Sunday School teacher was a perfectly intelligent woman and my pastor was truly a good man, but the more my questions about God were left unanswered, the less I believed in God.

Yet, despite this, I had always believed in Jesus Christ, who He was, and what He died for on the cross. To me, there was no question that I and everyone on Earth had failed to love others perfectly. Going to church, I thought, "Of course, I have done things wrong in my life and need forgiveness."

Coming back from my experience of going to Heaven, this gift of seeing or feeling The Light inside of others is more present than it was before. I know that everyone on Earth has a soul and a love from God regardless of their individual religion, but not everyone on Earth is awakened to God's Light or Presence from within, and it’s part of our mission on Earth to wake others up so they can feel and see The Light.

When I see the The Light inside of others, it looks to me like a pure, white Light full of sparkles. I always feel and see that Light most when I'm around other Christians or people so full of love you can feel it radiating from them. Since Heaven, I've met a few people from other faiths, but I know when people believe in God or Jesus Christ from inside of their heart, there's a Light and Peace around them that feels different from everyone else.
